Skills from this class carried over into other courses this semester. Skills like active reading, MLA citing, and integrating sources have been extremely useful to me in my explorations political science class. In this class, I frequently had to read different works, annotate them, and write essays on them that tied many of the different sources into one coherent essay while documenting them properly. The lessons in ENG 110 helped me build my skills, and exercises for MLA citations in The Little Seagull helped me understand how to properly in-text cite and create a citations page.
