The following picture are from a text that I have annotated, Carol Dweck’s Mindset and Sherman Alexie’s “Superman and Me”. In this image, of my annotations of Mindset, my strategies were highlighting key phrases or information, and writing notes in the margins. 
These are my annotations of “Superman and Me”. I practiced the same method of active reading, but in a more intensive way.
